This proposal seeks to expand protections for faculty who are predisposed to negative outcomes from COVID or another such infectious disease. Committee members propose:

• Mandating that the university fairly accommodates faculty who are themselves predisposed or live with someone who is predisposed to negative outcomes from COVID or another such infectious disease, including by allowing them to teach online when doing so is warranted.

• Ensuring that the university conforms to OSHA standards and other city, state, federal regulations regarding health and safety.
