The bargaining committee seeks to accomplish two main goals with this proposal:

• Ensure that the university issues union reps a list of part-time faculty working in a given semester/term no later than 5 days after the start of the semester/term. Currently union reps typically wait 45 days after the start of the semester for this information.

• Ensure that the university provides part-time faculty sufficient advance notice of major restructuring.
